Recently he has found the fun to be had in constructing countermelodies and in adding tinkly bits, as well as writing small pieces of his own. Bruce and Alice also sing in a choral group, Songs on Wheels, who perform old songs (from the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s mostly) in local care homes and hospitals. It's amazing what a positive effect music has on people with even the most advanced dementia.
