Ravensdaughter - Shepherds Arise
(traditional)

Shepherds Arise comes originally from the singing of the Copper Family, a farming family who have lived and worked the land around their home in the village of Rottingdean in Sussex for centuries and who have passed down traditional Sussex songs from generation to generation.

Our interpretation is taken from the version recorded in 1969 by the Young Tradition with Shirley and Dolly Collins on their album 'The Holly bears the Crown'.
