Long Last - Roses
(Richards)

A song about the Wars of the Roses, comparing the colours of the white and red roses, the respective emblems of the Houses of York and Lancaster and suggesting the more appropriate colour for such a bloody conflict would be black. The main instrument is a cittern with bass and whistle coming in. Anne took the lead vocal on this one. This song has always featured in our live repertoire.
