I knew this song from the singing of Shirley Collins with the Albion Band on the album No Roses from 1971. I was reminded of the song when I heard it recently in the opening music of the TV show Beyond Paradise with the song performed by Bellowhead. Our version follows the earlier Shirley Collins performance.
