Work in progress – The Rout of the Blues
A traditional song. I don’t remember now what made me think again of this song, which was the title song of the Robin and Barry Dransfield’s 1970 album, The Rout of the Blues. It tells of the muster of the Royal Horse Guards or ‘Blues and Royals’ as they were known. This song is still at the rehearsal stage.
